Pro: provide you the ability to manage your own backup schedule but don't require you to manage the media on which the backups are stored. Backups are stored off-site out of harms way. Con: generally, cloud backups have slower backup and recovery times. Also, can consume large amounts of bandwidth which could cost you additional money depending on your internet service provider. |

Hybrid backups are a combination of local and cloud backups that may / may not need special hardware to implement. Pro: gives you the fast recovery times of local backups with the security of cloud backup. Con: may require specialized hardware. |
